Royals Travel North for Two-Game Series with Thunder in Adirondack

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, open a two-game road series with the Adirondack Thunder on Friday, November 29th at 7:00 PM and Saturday, November 30th at 7:00 PM at Cool Insuring Arena.

The Royals return home on Saturday, December 7th to host Adirondack at 7:00 PM at Santander Arena. The promotional game is the Royals Military Appreciation & Teddy Bear Toss Night, presented by SolveIT Solutions.

Royals Right Now:

The Royals enter the two-game series with a 6-10-3-0 record after dropping both games of their two-game home stand between the Norfolk Admirals in overtime on Friday, November 22nd, 4-3 and the Maine Mariners on Saturday, November 23rd, 3-2. Forward Tyler Gratton had a goal and an assist to lead the Royals in points (2) in both games.

Forward Matt Miller leads the Royals in assists (12) and points (14) through 19 games this season. Forward Connor McMenamin and Gratton are tied for the team lead in goals (6).

Scouting the Thunder:

Adirondack enters the home series with a 7-6-0-1 record (15 points) through 14 games to open their 2024-25 campaign. The Thunder snapped a four-game losing streak that began with a 7-1 loss to the Royals on Sunday, November 17th, with a 5-1 win over the South Carolina Stingrays on Sunday, November 24th. Previously, Adirondack dropped their five-game home stand opener to the Trois-Rivières Lions on Wednesday, November 27th, 3-1.

ECHL affiliates to the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, Adirondack's offense is led by forward Kevin O'Neil with 12 points (3g-9a). Forwards Ryan Smith, Ryan Wheeler and Andre Ghantous leads the Thunder in goals with four each on the season.
