G Booth reassigned to Charlotte by Carolina

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced Friday goaltender Callum Booth has been reassigned to Charlotte (AHL) by the Carolina Hurricanes.The 21-year-old native of Montreal, QC registered his second career shutout Wednesday vs. Norfolk, making 17 saves to improve to 9-6-0-1 with a 2.51 goals against average and .909 save percentage this ECHL campaign. In his past two games (2-0-0-0 record), Booth has blocked 50 of 51 shots.With the Checkers, Booth has registered a 4-1-1 record, 2.58 goals against average and .898 save percentage. In 13 career AHL games, Booth is 6-2-1 with a 2.23 goals against average and .913 save percentage.In the QMJHL, Booth qualified for the Memorial Cup twice (2015 Quebec, 2017 Saint John).
