D Adam Comrie signs PTO with Lehigh Valley

Reading, PA – Defenseman Adam Comrie has signed a professional try-out (PTO) with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the organization announced Saturday. Comrie signed with the Royals on Oct. 13 and has a goal, three points and 19 penalty minutes in three games.

The native of Kanata, ON is three points away from becoming Reading’s all-time leading defenseman scorer, trailing Simon Tremblay (86 points). Comrie stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 226 pounds.

The 8th-year professional has played with Reading in four different seasons; 2012-13, 2014-15, 2015-16 and 2017-18. In 132 ECHL games, Comrie has 100 career points (42 goals). Last season, Comrie played with the Syracuse Crunch (AHL) and scored eight goals and 20 points. In 251 AHL games, Comrie has 28 goals and 91 points.

Comrie was selected by the Florida Panthers in the third round, 80th overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
