Seven Royals to Participate in AHL / NHL Training Camps

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that seven players who are signed to an ECHL contract with the Royals will participate in American Hockey League or NHL pre-season training camps. The four forwards and three defensemen will head to camps with three different organizations: the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Providence Bruins of the AHL and the Montreal Canadiens of the NHL.

The Royals will send four players to Lehigh Valley’s training camp: forwards Michael Huntebrinker, Mark Naclerio, and Derek Whitmore and defenseman Ryan Segalla. Defenseman Nick Luukko and forward Ryan Penny will attend training camp with Providence. Defenseman Sam Posa is currently attending camp with Montreal.
