Royals Game in Elmira Halted with 6:07 Remaining in First Period

Elmira, NY – Tonight’s game between the Reading Royals and Elmira Jackals at First Arena in Elmira, New York, was halted with 6:07 remaining in the first period due to ice conditions. The Royals led in the game, 2-0, on the strength of goals by Mike Pereira (1:20) and Ryan Penny (10:11) when the game was halted. The ECHL has stated that the game has been “postponed” and that further information will be forthcoming.
