The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that the team has released goaltender Justin Kowalkoski as the team’s Emergency Back-up Goaltender. Reading has also released goaltender Jordan Ruby, who was claimed by the Royals off waivers on Saturday, from his ECHL Standard Players Contract.
