Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out last night to Stokesay Castle in Reading for the team’s Fifteenth Anniversary Town Hall Meeting.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Flyers’ Assistant General Manager Barry Hanrahan, Royals’ Owner Jack Gulati, team President Drew Bell, Head Coach Larry Courville, Assistant Coach Kirk MacDonald, forward Adam Berkle, and new Equipment Manager Jason MacDonald for graciously answering questions posed by the fans. And, of course, most of all, we want to thank our fans for attending.
Among the many events at last night’s THM, the Royals played the team’s 2015-16 season-theme video ‘We Believe,’ detailed a number of developments at Santander Arena, including the pending installation of a new dasher board and seamless glass system, as well as high definition video equipment. The panelists also discussed a number of upcoming promotions (including the nine game Community Series) and unveiled the Royals’ new home and away jerseys—one of which was given away to a lucky fan in attendance. The hockey operations panelists addressed the current status of the team’s roster.
The Fifteenth Anniversary THM was streamed live on the Royals’ YouTube page with questions and comments posted through Twitter. The THM can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ibl5Sj8rkb8.
