Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Maxim Lamarche has been recalled by the Flyers from the Royals and reassigned to the Phantoms.
This marks the third trip of the season to the AHL for Lamarche, a second year pro from Laval, Quebec. Lamarche has recorded seven goals and eighteen assists (twenty-five points) and thirty-three penalty minutes in fifty-one games with the Royals. His seven goals is tied for the team lead amongst defensemen on the Royals, and he has played to a team-leading plus-23 (+23) in his time with Reading. In three games with the Phantoms this year, he has registered one assist and two penalty minutes.
