Goaltender Martin Ouellette Loaned to Reading from Lehigh Valley

Goaltender Martin Ouellette Loaned to Reading from Lehigh Valley

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced that goaltender Martin Ouellette has been loaned from the Phantoms to the Royals. In separate transactions also announced today, the Royals (i) activated forward Kevin Sullivan from the ECHL Reserve; and (ii) placed goaltender Kenny Reiter on the ECHL Reserve.

Ouellette, a first year pro from Saint-Hippolyte, Quebec, was recalled to Lehigh Valley from Reading for the third time this season on January 13. He appeared in three games for Phantoms during this most recent stint in the AHL, going 2-1-0-0 with a 3.12 goals against average and a .887 save percentage, which included a 23-save 4-3 win over the St. John’s IceCaps on January 24 in his most recent appearance for the Phantoms. Overall, in six games with Lehigh Valley, Ouellette has compiled a record of 3-2-0-0 with a 2.55 GAA and a .911 save percentage. In nineteen games with the Royals, Ouellette has gone 11-6-1-1 with a 2.85 goals against average and .907 save percentage with one shutout.
