Forward Josh Brittain Recalled to Hershey

Forward Josh Brittain Recalled to Hershey

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Josh Brittain has been recalled to the Bears. In separate transactions also announced today, the Royals placed forward T.J. Syner on the ECHL Reserve List and activated Jesse Todd, who was placed on the ECHL Reserve List yesterday.

Brittain was loaned to the Royals by the Bears on January 20. In twenty-one games with Reading, he has recorded twenty-one points (11g-10a). Last night, Brittain, who has scored six game winning goals for the Royals, became the first player in Royals’ team history to score the GWG in three consecutive games.

The Royals return to action tonight (Saturday, March 8 @ 7:05 pm) when the Evansville Icemen visit Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania. The first 2000 fans 15 and older will get a magnetic white board courtesy of Rentokil Ehrlich. Saturday’s game night broadcast will kick off at 6:35 pm on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 will kick off with the Highmark Blue Shield Warm-Up Show on the Royals Broadcast Network presented by Boscov’s Travel and Apple Vacations.
