Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Patrick Wey has been reassigned by the Capitals from the Royals to the Bears. Wey, a first year pro from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has recorded three assists and six penalty minutes in eight games with Reading this year. He has not yet played a game for Hershey.

Reading returns to action on Friday (November 15 @ 7:30 pm), when the team will travel to Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to face the Kalamazoo Wings for the first time this season. Friday’s game night broadcast on CBS Sports Radio in Reading (1240 am and 98.5 fm) will kick off at 7:00 pm with the pre-game warm-up show presented by High Mark Blue Shield. Friday’s game, as with all Royals’ road games this season, will be televised locally in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on BCTV courtesy of Boscov’s Travel and Apple Vacations.
