Royals New Mobile App for Smart Phones is Up and Running

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL andtoday announced that the team’s mobile app is now available for free download under ‘Reading Royals’ at the Google Play store and on the Apple Market. The app is expected to be available at Amazon.com for Kindle Fire devices in the immediate future.

The Royals app, which continues to evolve with new features being regularly added, allows fans to get all the latest team information and stay up with the Royals while on the go through smart phone devices. Current features include a Game Zone for all the latest stats, a Promotions link that will provide unique insight into events and giveaways at the Sovereign Center on game night, and a special Fan Attic Zone that will feature ‘app only’ merchandise specials throughout the season. The Royals also hope that the team’s game night broadcasts will also be accessible through the app in the not too distant future, so fans are encouraged to check back regularly at the Royals app for the latest features, additions and developments.

The Royals kick off the defense of the team’s 2013 Kelly Cup Championship on Saturday, October 19, 2013, (7:35 pm), at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, with the 2013-14 season opener against the South Carolina Stingrays. The Royals also face the Stingrays on Sunday, October 20 (4:05 pm) in Game Two of Opening Weekend. Season Tickets for the 2013-14 Reading Royals are currently available.
