Royals Announce 25th Anniversary Season Preseason Schedule, Home Game Oct. 10th

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced the club will play a two-game home-and-home preseason series against the Trenton Ironhawks.

The preseason series opens on the road for the Royals on Friday, October 9th at 7:00 pm at Igloo Ice Rink (3033 Fostertown Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ) before concluding at home on Saturday, October 10th at 7:00 p.m. at Santander Arena.

TICKETS: Admission to the Royals preseason home game on October 10th is a suggested $5 donation to Slapshot Charities, the official charitable arm of the Reading Royals. Slapshot Charities supports charitable organizations throughout Reading and the surrounding area serving underprivileged and disadvantaged youth and their families through fundraising activities, charitable drives related to the provision of educational and recreational opportunities for children. Additionally, the initiative promotes charitable grants or donations as well as educational activities related to, or which may assist the accomplishment of such purposes.

Be the first fans to see the Royals’ 2026-27 roster in action under Head Coach & General Manager Anthony Peters before the home opener at Santander Arena on Saturday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m. against the Kalamazoo Wings.

Nov. 8 Home Opener:

The Royals play their home opener at Santander Arena on Saturday, November 8 at 7:00 p.m. against Trois-Rivières. The home opener opens a two-game series with the Lions which concludes on Sunday, November 9 at 3:00 p.m. Fans can secure their seat today with a Ticket Plan (10/18-Game Plan, Big-6 Game Plan, or Royals365 Membership).

21st Annual Slapshot Charities Golf Tournament

Limited spots remain! The Slapshot Charities Golf Tournament, presented by Supreme Ceilings, on Monday, Oct. 12th at the Moselem Springs Golf Club (684 Eagle Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522). Home Opener:

The Royals player their home opener at Santander Arena on Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. against Kalamazoo. The home opener opens a two-game series with the Wings which concludes on Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 p.m. The Royals hoist a record of 9-11-1-3 in home openers with their last home opener victory coming against the Norfolk Admirals, 6-4, on October 23 of the 2021-22 season.

Fans can secure their seat for Opening Night today with a Royals ticket plan. The Royals offer plans ranging from as low as 4 games all the way up to our full season Royals365 Membership.
