'26-27 RRYHA Youth League Half-Ice & Full-Ice

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals Youth Hockey Association is accepting registrations for their 2026-2027 Youth League presented by Visions Federal Credit Union. The RRYHA offers leagues to boys and girls aged 4-12 at the half ice, and full ice levels.

The RRYHA leagues provide instructional coaching to kids with a focus on sportsmanship, equal playing time, and friendly competition. This in-house development model suits the hockey community that the RRYHA strives to build and sustain in Berks County.

HALF-ICE (u6-u8) SCHEDULE:

Our Half-Ice league is set across a manageable ELEVEN-week schedule.

Each week will feature one practice and one game held at the Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex (3103 Paper Mill Road, Reading).

 REGISTRATION BENEFITS:

Upon registration, each child will receive the following benefits with being a Youth League player:

  • 11-game guarantee (including semifinals and championships)
  • 11 practices (Thursday Evenings)  
  • Championship awards
  • Championship game to be played at SANTANDER ARENA - where the Reading Royals play!
  • Custom uniform (Jersey and socks).
  • Sibling Discounts Available
  • Membership to the Slapshot's Kids Club for the 2026-2027 Season

FULL-ICE Scramble League (u10-u12): 

Our Full Ice Scramble League is set across a manageable ELEVEN-week schedule.

Each week will feature one practice and one game held at the Body Zone Sports and Wellness Complex (3103 Paper Mill Road, Reading). 

Teams will change week to week, challenging players to compete and play with new teammates each week! 

REGISTRATION BENEFITS:

  • 11 Practices (Tuesday Evenings)
    • Practices will run similar to skill clinics- focusing on full ice game concepts, individual skill development, and compete!
  • 10 Games
  • Custom uniform (Jersey and socks).
  • Sibling Discounts Available
  • Membership to the Slapshot's Kids Club for the 2026-2027 Season
  • Bonus game & Team Party at Santander Arena at the end of the Season!

21st Annual Slapshot Charities Golf Tournament

Limited spots remain! The Slapshot Charities Golf Tournament, presented by Supreme Ceilings, on Monday, Oct. 12th at the Moselem Springs Golf Club (684 Eagle Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522). All proceeds will go to Slapshot Charities, the charitable arm of the Reading Royals. Learn more and register HERE.

Home Opener:

The Royals player their home opener at Santander Arena on Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. against Kalamazoo. The home opener opens a two-game series with the Wings which concludes on Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 p.m. The Royals hoist a record of 9-11-1-3 in home openers with their last home opener victory coming against the Norfolk Admirals, 6-4, on October 23 of the 2021-22 season.

Fans can secure their seat for Opening Night today with a Royals ticket plan. The Royals offer plans ranging from as low as 4 games all the way up to our full season Royals365 Membership.

About the Royals

The Reading Royals, proud affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, are entering their 25th season in the ECHL.
