Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that forward Jordan Frasca has re-signed with the club for the 2026-27 season.

Frasca, 25, is entering his fifth professional season following an injury-shortened five-game campaign with Reading where he registered six points (3g-3a). The Caledon, Ontario native has logged 56 points (22g-34a) across 86 ECHL career games between the Wheeling Nailers (2022-24), Atlanta Gladiators (2024-25) and Reading (2025-26). Frasca recorded one point (1a) in eight Kelly Cup Playoff career games with Wheeling in 2024 and also played in 11 American Hockey League (AHL) career games with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (2022-24).

"Jordan is the hardest working player I have been around,” stated Anthony Peters, Head Coach & General Manager. "Unfortunately, he missed time last season due to injury, but he found ways to provide value and help our team in other ways. That’s the type of person he is. He has the ability to be an elite player, we are excited to give him that opportunity. He is everything you want in a player and person.”

An undrafted skater signed by the Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) in the spring of 2022 and traded to the Nashville Predators (NHL) in 2024, Frasca attended the Toronto Maple Leafs 2021 Development Camp and Penguins Development Camps in 2022 and 2023.

Prior to his professional career, the 6'3", 183-pound, left-shot forward played parts of five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) with the Windsor Spitfires (2017-19) and the Kingston Frontenacs where he totaled 155 points (67g-88a), 87 penalty minutes and a +9 rating across 190 career games. He also served as an alternate captain for the latter during his final junior campaign.

Home Opener:

The Royals player their home opener at Santander Arena on Saturday, October 24 at 7:00 p.m. against Kalamazoo. The home opener opens a two-game series with the Wings which concludes on Sunday, October 25 at 3:00 p.m. The Royals hoist a record of 9-11-1-3 in home openers with their last home opener victory coming against the Norfolk Admirals, 6-4, on October 23 of the 2021-22 season.
