Save the Date! Royals 2025-26 Home Opener is Nov. 8

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that the club's home opener for the 2025-26 regular season, presented by Supportive Concepts for Families, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 7:00 PM at Santander Arena.

The home opener begins the Royals 36-home game schedule which will feature promotional themes, giveaways and specialty jerseys throughout. Fans can look for social media announcements on promotional deals, group outing opportunities and team events leading up to the home opener by following the Reading Royals on X, Instagram and Facebook.

Fans can secure their seat today with a Ticket Plan (10/18-Game Plan, Big-6 Game Plan, or Royals365 Membership).

Royals single-game ticket information will be announced later this summer.

Royal Nuggets:

  • The Nov. 8 home opener marks the latest the Royals will play their first home game of a regular season in the franchise's 24-season history
  • The Nov. 8 home opener is only the second home opener in the month of November
    • The previous November home opener occurred in the 2007-08 regular season where the Royals fell to Cincinnati in a 3-0 loss on Nov. 3 when former Royal Jonathan Quick started in goal for Reading. 
  • The Royals are 9-10-1-3 in all-time home openers

Royals Upcoming:

The full 72-game schedule for the 2025-26 regular season is expected to be released in the first week of June.

2025-26 Season Memberships

About the Royals

The Reading Royals, proud affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, are entering their 24th season in the ECHL. They won their first Kelly Cup championship in 2013 and have clinched playoff berths in 13 of their latest 15 seasons.
