Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced that defenseman Dom Olivieri has been signed to a Standard Player Contract (SPC).

Olivieri, 33, opened the 2024-25 campaign, his tenth professional season, with the Binghamton Black Bears in the FPHL where he recorded 16 points (8g-8a) and 22 penalty minutes in 11 games played. The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native has played each of the last three seasons with Binghamton where he compiled 82 points (36g-49a), 129 penalty minutes and a +14 rating in 52 games.

Across 352 professional career games between the FPHL (68), SPHL (196) and ECHL (88), the 6'0", 205-pound, right-shot defenseman has accumulated 271 points (106g-165a), 538 penalty minutes and a +29 rating. In 88 ECHL career games, Olivieri has totaled 38 points (13g-25a), 87 penalty minutes and a -7 rating between stints with the Missouri Mavericks (2016-17), Norfolk Admirals (2017-18, 2018-19), Rapid City Rush (2017-18) and Atlanta Gladiators (2018-19).

Prior to beginning his professional career with the Berlin River Drivers in the FHL (former title of FPHL before 2019 rebrand) in 2015-16, Olivieri played five seasons in the NCAA D-III between Utica College (2012-14) and Nazareth College (2013-16).
