Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, take on the Worcester Railers for a stand-alone game on Wednesday, December 11th at 7:05 PM at the DCU Center.

The Royals return home to host the Nailers for a pair of face-offs on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th at Santander Arena. The promotional games feature a Wizards Night and Christmas with the Peanuts, respectively.

Royals Right Now:

The Royals enter their third meeting with the Railers this season (2-0-0) with a 7-12-4-0 record after dropping their first of three games against Wheeling on Sunday, December 8th, 6-2. Forward Tyler Gratton (7) and Gianfranco Cassaro (5) both scored for Reading in the loss. Gratton's goal tied him with Connor McMenamin for the team lead in goals, while Cassaro's goal earned the rookie defenseman his 14th point of the season, which ties for the team lead with McMenamin and Matt Miller.

Miller has registered a team-high 12 assists this season which ties for second among all rookies in the ECHL.

Scouting the Railers:

Worcester enters the Wednesday face-off with a 9-12-1-1 record (20 points) through 23 games to open their 2024-25 campaign. The Railers have dropped two-straight games and four of their last five games overall. Previously, they fell to the Norfolk Admirals in overtime, 4-3, at home on Sunday, December 8th.

ECHL affiliates to the New York Islanders and Bridgeport Islanders, Worcester's offense is led by forward Anthony Repaci who hold the club's most goals (16) and points (25), which rank second and tie for third in the ECHL, respectively.
