Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, return home on Saturday, December 7th to host the Adirondack Thunder at 7:00 PM at Santander Arena. The promotional game is the Royals Military Appreciation & Teddy Bear Toss Night, presented by SolveIT Solutions.

Royals Right Now:

The Royals enter the month of December with a 7-11-3-0 record after splitting a two-game road series against the Thunder at Cool Insuring Arena with a win on Friday, November 29th, 3-1, before dropping the second half of the back-to-back on Saturday, November 30th, 3-2.

Forward Connor McMenamin leads Reading in goals and ties forward Matt Miller for the team lead in points with 14. Miller has registered a team-high 12 assists this season which ties for the league lead aming all rookies in the ECHL.

Scouting the Thunder:

Adirondack enters Santander Arena with a 9-8-0-1 record (19 points) through 18 games to open their 2024-25 campaign. After splitting their home two-game seires with the Royals last weekend, the Thunder defeated Worcester on Wednesday, December 4th, 7-4, before dropping their previous game on Friday, December 6th, to Norfolk, 6-1.

ECHL affiliates to the New Jersey Devils and Utica Comets, Adirondack's offense is led by forward Kevin O'Neil with 16 points (4g-12a). Forward Andre Ghantous leads the Thunder in goals with seven on the season, four of which coming against Reading across the teams' prior five meetings.

The Royals are 2-3 in their season series with the Thunder entering their first home game against Adirondack this regular season.
