Royals Host Admirals for Reading Railroad Night Friday Face-off

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, open a two-game home stand on Friday, November 22nd against the Norfolk Admirals at 7:00 PM at Santander Arena.

The home stint concludes against the Maine Mariners on Saturday, November 23rd at 7:00 PM.

Royals Right Now:

The Royals enter the home stand with a 6-9-2 record after falling to Norfolk on Wednesday, November 20th, 5-2. Forwards Ryan Leibold and Jake Smith scored for Reading while goaltender Keith Petruzzelli saved 21 of 25 shots faced.

Forwards Connor McMenamin and Matt Miller are tied for the team lead in points (13). McMenamin leads the Royals in goals on the season with six while Miller has registered a team-high 11 assists.

Scouting the Admirals:

Norfolk enters the Friday face-off win one win in their last four games (1-2-1). Prior to Wednesday's victory over the Royals, the Admirals dropped their Sunday, November 10th face-off against the Worcester Railers in overtime, 4-3, as well as both home games against the Toledo Walleye on Friday, November 15th, 5-1, and Saturday, November 16th, 6-2.

The Admirals come into Reading with a 7-4-3-0 record (17 points) through 14 games to open their 2024-25 campaign. ECHL affiliates to the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose, Norfolk's offense is led by forward Brady Fleurent with 15 points (5g-10a). Forward Carson Golder leads the Admirals in goals with six.
