Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, open a four-game road trip in Trois-Rivères on Wednesday, October 30th at 7:00 PM at the Colisée Vidéotron. The road trip continues in Trois-Rivières on Friday at 7:00 PM before moving to Maine for back-to-back face-offs against the Mariners on Saturday at 6:00 PM and Sunday at 3:00 PM at Cross Insurance Arena.

The Royals return home on Wednesday, November 6th to host the Norfolk Admirals at 7:00 PM at Santander Arena for a Wild Wednesday promotional game. Enjoy $6.10 Orange Zone tickets and $2 beer at select locations around the concourse (must be 21+). College students can also score on a Buy One, Get One ticket deal with a valid .edu email at the box office of Santander Arena on Wild Wednesday game days.

Royals Right Now:

The Royals hoist a 4-1 record and 8 points to place 1st in the North Division and Eastern Conference through five games of the 2024-25 season. Previously, Reading split their two-game home opener weekend series against the Wheeling Nailers with a win on Sunday, Oct. 27, 4-1, after dropping the two-game series opener on Saturday, October 26, 5-4, at Santander Arena. Captain Todd Skirving led the Royals offense in the two-game series with four-points (2g-2a). Forward Connor McMenamin leads the Royals in goals (4) while he ties for the team lead in points with Skirving (5).

Reading defeated the Lions in the 2024-25 season opener on Friday, Oct. 18, 3-2. McMenamin scored the game-winning goal for his first professional career goal while Parker Gahagen saved 19 of 21 shots faced in the road win.

Scouting the Lions:

Trois-Rivières is 0-2-1 with 1 point through three games to open their 2024-25 campaign. The Lions are led by second-year head coach Ron Choules (31-32-9) and previously to the Worcester Railers in overtime, 4-3, on Friday, Oct. 25 before suffering a shutout loss to the Adirondack Thunder on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2-0.

The Lions, ECHL affiliates to the Montreal Canadians, stand in seventh in the North Division and 14th in the Eastern Conference. Defenseman Brycen Martin leads the club in points (3) and ties with forwards Xavier Cormier, Morgan Adams-Moisan, Anthony Beauchamp and Jakov Novak for the team lead in goals (1).
