Royals Release 2023-24 Schedule

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals, proud affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced Thursday the team’s full 2023-2024 regular season schedule, which starts with an away series against the Newfoundland Growlers on Friday, October 20 (away) at 5:30 p.m. followed by a home series which opens at Santander Arena on Saturday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. against the Trois-Rivières Lions. Reading plays 36 games at the Santander Arena. Season ticket and mini-plan memberships are available by calling 610-898-7825.

Quick Facts: 

Home Weekend Warriors: The Reading Royals will have 13 Saturday games, 11 Friday games, and 5 Sunday games at Santander Arena.It's been awhile: The Royals will welcome the Kalamazoo Wings and Orlando Solar Bears to Santander Arena on December 1-2, and April 12-13, respectively. The Royals last faced-off against the Wings on November 18, 2018 (6-4 L) at Santander Arena and last played the Solar Bears on March 1, 2018 (4-3 OTL) in Orlando.

MLK Day: The Royals will play its traditional Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Game against the Maine Mariners on Monday, January 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Santander Arena

Education Day: Reading announced its fourth ever Education Day Game will be played vs. Wheeling on Tuesday, February 6 at 10:30 a.m. The day will feature an educational component and discounted tickets for K-12 Students. To sign your classroom up today, visit: Royals Education Day.

Annual Golf Tournament: The Royals will host the 18th Swing into the Season Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, October 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Heidelberg Country Club. All proceeds will go to Slapshot Charities, the charitable arm of the Reading Royals.

About the Royals

The Reading Royals, proud affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, are preparing for their 22nd season in the ECHL. They won their first Kelly Cup championship in 2013 and have clinched playoff berths in 12 of the previous 13 seasons. They are five-time division champions and were the 2021-22 Eastern Conference champion. The Berks County Convention Center Authority (BCCCA), founded in 1996, owns the Royals and oversees operations at Santander Arena.
