Reading, PA – The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced Wednesday forward Pascal Laberge has been reassigned to Reading from Lehigh Valley by Philadelphia.The 21-year-old native of Chateauguay, QC has scored seven goals and ten points in 23 games with the Phantoms this season. Laberge has two multi-goal games in his career, both in the AHL, including a hat trick with Lehigh Valley against Rochester in March 2019.Laberge started this season with Reading and scored the game-winning goal in his first Royals game Oct. 11 at Newfoundland. With Reading, Laberge has tallied three goals and six points in 14 games. He was reassigned to Lehigh Valley from Reading by Philadelphia on Nov. 19.He made the jump to the AHL after four seasons in the QMJHL. Among his highlights in major junior, Laberge topped Victoriaville with 45 assists and 68 points in the 2015-16 draft season. He also skated in the 2016 CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. The Flyers selected the 6-foot-1, 174-lb., right-handed shot in the second round, 36th overall, at the 2016 NHL Entry Level Draft.Reading visits Wheeling Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. and starts a three-game weekend Fri., Feb. 21 at 7:00 p.m. vs. Newfoundland.
