Reading, PA – The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers and Lehigh Valley Phantoms, announced goaltender Branden Komm has been recalled from loan by Lehigh Valley.In his latest stint with Reading from Jan. 17-23, Komm played in two games and allowed six goals, including a 33-save performance in a loss to Brampton Jan. 18. With Lehigh Valley from Dec. 14-Jan.17, he played in two games (0-1-0-0 record, 6 GA). The fifth-year professional made his AHL debut with the Phantoms against Hartford on Jan. 5 and blocked 25 shots in a 3-1 loss. The 27-year old native of Williamsville, NY is 5-3-1-1 in 12 games with Reading, accruing a 2.67 goals against average and .919 save percentage.The Royals return from the ECHL all-star break Sat., Jan. 26 at 7:05 p.m. at Wheeling. The team is back at home on Wed., Jan. 30 at 7:00 p.m. for a postgame player autograph session against Maine.
