Team announces 5 primary sponsors, with open tryouts Sun., Sept. 30
Reading, PA – Reading Royals Team President and General Manager Shawn Hackman announced Monday the addition of the Royals’ “Ice Angels” dance team, built to heighten the fan experience at Santander Arena.
Need to know
- All ladies 18 or older that wish to be considered can come to an open tryout Sun., Sept. 30 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Academy of Movement. Register here.
- Bell Tower Salon & Spa, Baja Beach Tanning Club, Planet Fitness, Sorrelli Jewelry and the Academy of Movement are the Ice Angels’ primary partners.
- The team will perform at all Saturday home games and greet fans on the concourse. The Ice Angels’ training facility will be at the Academy of Movement in Sinking Spring.
“The Ice Angels will be vital in helping the Royals amplify the fun and family-friendly game experience that accompanies events at Santander Arena,” Hackman said. “We would like to thank Bell Tower Salon & Spa, Baja Beach Tanning Club, Planet Fitness, Sorrelli Jewelry and the Academy of Movement for partnering with the Ice Angels.” Royals players are set to begin training camp Sat., Sept. 29 at 2:00 p.m., with practice open to the public at Body Zone Sports & Wellness. Single-game tickets are now on sale for the 2018-19 Royals regular season, available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com and the Weidenhammer Box Office at Santander Arena.
