F Ryan Penny loaned to Binghamton

Reading at home to face Worcester Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.

Reading, PA – Reading Royals forward and alternate captain Ryan Penny was loaned to the Binghamton Devils Wednesday prior to the Royals’ home game against Worcester at 7:00 p.m.

Penny has scored in three straight games to tie for the team lead with 12 goals (23 points). Since joining the Royals last season, he has skated in 114 straight games and tallied 37 goals and 77 points. He recorded his 100th professional point on Jan. 6 against Worcester. The native of Fall River, NS played in 24 AHL games with the Binghamton Senators in 2015-16 (2g, 3a).

Before turning pro, Penny served as a captain twice in his junior career with Rouyn-Noranda and Moncton of the QMJHL. In 2014-15, Penny established his junior high with 32 goals and 70 points in 66 games for Rouyn-Noranda.
