Tandem prepares for three Royals home games this weekend

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have signed forwards Jack Ceglarski and Brian Morgan. Both are rookies from the Southern Professional Hockey League. Ceglarski ripped seven goals and 13 points (15 GP) with Huntsville. Morgan has six goals and 12 points in 16 games with Pensacola.

Ceglarski, 25, played in Pennsylvania 2011-13 with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights (AtJHL) before joining SUNY-Geneseo for four seasons. A former captain of SUNY-Geneseo, he started his professional career with Indy last season (5 GP) and moved to the SPHL this season. His grandfather, Len, was the Head Coach of Clarkson University from 1959-72 and Boston College’s Head Coach from 1972-92. Len retired as college hockey’s all-time wins leader (673-339-7 record).

Morgan played three seasons of college hockey at Maine and skated with UConn in 2016-17. Over four NCAA years, he scored 24 goals and 46 points. The Windham, NH native skated in the USHL with the Indiana Ice and Muskegon Lumberjacks in 2012-13, recording 31 points.

The Royals have seven of their next eight games at home. Reading has two games against the Nailers this weekend.
