Royals play Jacksonville tonight; Comrie released from PTO, de Haas returned on loan
Reading, PA – The Reading Royals, proud ECHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, have received defensemen James de Haas and Adam Comrie from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, the team announced Saturday. Comrie has been released from his professional try-out contract (PTO) and de Haas returns on loan.
Comrie has three points with Reading (1g, 2a) and skated in two games with Lehigh Valley. The Clarkson graduate de Haas played in three Phantoms games. He has three assists in four games with Reading.
Comrie is two points away from tying Simon Tremblay (86 pts) as Reading’s all-time leading defenseman scorer.
The Royals are at home Sat., Nov. 11 against Jacksonville at 7 p.m. Reading will hand out replica jersey rally towels to the first 2,500 fans, courtesy of the U.G.I. Utilities. The team will wear specialty camouflage jerseys and fans can bring warm winter clothing to donate to Veterans Making a Difference to be distributed to Veterans in need.
