Royals Transaction: Kowalkoski (g) Added as EBG - Ruby (g) Claimed Off Waivers

The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that the team anticipates signing goaltender Justin Kowalkoski as the team’s Emergency Back-up Goaltender for tonight’s game against the Wheeling Nailers. Reading has also asserted a successful waiver claim for goaltender Jordan Ruby, who was released by the South Carolina Stingrays yesterday.
