Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that the organization will host its annual Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, September 15, 2016, from 6:30 pm8:00 pm at Stokesay Castle (141 Stokesay Castle Lane, Reading, PA 19606; 610-375-6100).

Season Sixteen’s ‘Hometown Hockey’ Town Hall Meeting will feature a representative of the Philadelphia Flyers, Royals’ owner Jack Gulati, team President Drew Bell, Head Coach Larry Courville, and Assistant Coach Kirk MacDonald, who will address the Town Hall crowd and open the floor to questions from fans. The Royals also anticipate the attendance of at least one player currently on the team’s roster.

A number of pertinent topics will be addressed during this season’s Town Hall Meeting, including the affiliation relationship with the Flyers, the current state of the ECHL, the Royals’ schedule, the team’s roster, pending player personnel decisions, the organization’s broadcast plans, and several new elements in the promotional schedule. There will be an opportunity for autographs and photographs. There will be drawings for prizes for those in attendance, and we anticipate that the team will have a supply of brand-new Season Sixteen “Hometown Hockey” gear at the THM.

Season Sixteen of “Hometown Hockey” kicks off for the Royals on Saturday, October 15, 2016 @ 7:00 pm when the Elmira Jackals visit Santander Arena.
