Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Maxim Lamarche has been reassigned by the Flyers from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League to the Royals.
Lamarche, a third year pro from Laval, Quebec, was recalled from Reading and reassigned to the Phantoms on December 7, 2015. In twenty-nine games with Lehigh Valley, he recorded six points (1g-5a) and twenty-one penalty mniutes. In twenty-one games with Reading this season, Lamarche, who serves as the Royals’ team captain, has recorded ten points (4g-6a) and twelve penalty minutes while playing to a plus-10 (+10).
The Royals return to action tonight (Tuesday, March 29 @ 7 p.m.) at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, where the team will face the Elmira Jackals for the twelfth and final matchup of the regular season between the two teams. Tuesday’s game was re-scheduled from its original date (January 24), which was postponed due to emergency weather conditions. Tickets from the originally scheduled contest will be honored and exchanged for tonight’s game, when the team will host “Nineties Night,” which includes a full-team post-game autograph session. Tonight’s matchup can be heard live on CBS SportsRadio 1240 AM and 98.5 FM in Reading, Pennsylvania, starting with the pre-game warm-up show presented by Highmark Blue Shield at 6:30 pm Eastern Time. Streaming audio is available free of charge on the Royals’ website (follow the ‘headset’ icon); and streaming video is available on a pay-per-view basis through ECHL.TV.
