Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that the National Oil Heat Research Alliance (NORA) and Met-Ed, a First Energy Company, have been named the Presenting Sponsors of the 2016 Flyers Alumni Event to be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 (7:00 pm) at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania.

“We’re excited to welcome NORA and Met-Ed as our partners in the upcoming Flyers Alumni Game,” said Drew Bell, team president of the Reading Royals, the host organization of the historic game. “This game has generated a great deal of excitement in our community, and the people at NORA and Met-Ed have joined forces with the Royals organization to ensure that the entire evening is something that the people in the Berks County area will remember for years to come. We’re also pleased to note that NORA and Met-Ed/First Energy have made an important commitment to the Royals’ organization for the entire season. We look forward to working with them in our continuing effort to bring another Kelly Cup Championship to Reading.”

The Alumni Game will feature representation from every decade of Flyers Hockey squaring off against each other in an intra-squad game.
