Royals Fifteenth Anniversary Season Kicks off with Town Hall Meeting

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League, today announced that the organization will host its annual Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, August 27, 2015, from 6:30 pm8:00 pm at Stokesay Castle (141 Stokesay Castle Lane, Reading, PA 19606; 610-375-6100).

This season’s Town Hall Meeting will feature a representative of the Philadelphia Flyers, Royals’ owner Jack Gulati, team President Drew Bell, Head Coach Larry Courville, and Assistant Coach Kirk MacDonald, who will address the Town Hall crowd and open the floor to questions from fans. The Royals also anticipate the attendance of at least one player currently on the team’s roster.

A number of pertinent topics will be addressed during this season’s Town Hall Meeting, including the affiliation relationship with the Flyers, the current state of the ECHL, the Royals’ schedule, the team’s roster, pending player personnel decisions, the organization’s broadcast plans, and several new and interesting elements in the promotional schedule. The Royals never want anyone to leave empty-handed, so the team will have several drawings for prizes for those in attendance; and, of course, we anticipate that we will have a supply of newly-minted Fifteenth Anniversary gear at the THM.

The Fifteenth Season of Royals’ hockey kicks off with back-to-back games against the South Carolina Stingrays at North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday (October 17) and Sunday (October 18). Reading then opens the home portion of the team’s schedule on Saturday, October 24, (7:00 pm) when the Elmira Jackals visit Santander Arena. Season Tickets for the 2015-16 Reading Royals ECHL season are currently available. Call 610-898-7825 for more information or log onto www.royalshockey.com.
