Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, today announced that the team will host a pep-rally and carnival at Santander Arena on Tuesday, April 14, from 6 – 8 pm to prepare fans in Reading for the team’s playoff matchup with the South Carolina Stingrays and raise funds for the Olivet Boys & Girls Club of Berks County.
Admission is free to everyone for the pre-playoff pep-rally and carnival, which will include a wide variety of activities for participants of all ages, including a Meltdown inflatable, a dunk tank and other carnival-styled games courtesy of Exeter Dairy Queen. Fans are also encouraged to get their biceps pumped for a sledge-hammer car smash courtesy of our good friends at V&M Towing. The entire Royals’ team will be available to meet, greet and sign autographs. There will be a small charge to participate in each of the available games and activities, but the money raised will go to benefit the Olivet Boys & Club.
During the pep-rally and carnival, the Royals will also hold a raffle to raise funds for the Olivet Boys & Girls Club. The raffle will offer a wide variety of prizes including: four (4) Diamond Club Phillies Tickets (& parking pass) for the June 19th game against Cardinals (value $440); two (2) Eagles Club Level Sideline Tickets to the Home Game against Tampa Bay Buccaneers (& Parking pass) (Value $700); and Royals Prize Packs.
