Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has added three players to the team’s Training Camp Roster: (i) forward David Marshall; (ii) forward Adam Hughesman; and (iii) defenseman Zach Davies. Marshall was released from the Springfield Falcons’ AHL training camp and Hughesman was released from AHL camp with the Manchester Monarchs on Sunday. Davies was signed by the Royals to an ECHL Standard Players Contract on October 4.
The Royals currently have twenty-eight players (sixteen forwards, nine defensemen, three goaltenders) on the active Training Camp Roster.
The Royals open the 2014-15 season on Saturday, October 18, at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia, where the team will face the Wheeling Nailers. The home portion of the schedule will kick off the following Saturday (October 25, 2014 @ 7:05 pm) when the Elmira Jackals travel to Santander Arena. Royals’ season tickets are currently available.
