Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Brett Flemming has been recalled by the Phantoms. In a separate transaction, forward Derek Mathers has been recalled by the Flyers and reassigned to the Phantoms. In other transactions undertaken today, the Royals: (i) activated defenseman Mike Marcou from the ECHL Reserve List; (ii) activated forward David Marshall from the ECHL Reserve List; (iii) placed defenseman Dan Ford on the ECHL Reserve List; and (iv) placed defenseman Adam Comrie on the ECHL Reserve List.
This afternoon (Sunday, October 26, @5:05 pm) the Royals take on the Elmira Jackals at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania. As with all Sunday games this season, fans can park for free at the RPA parking garages around Santander Arena. The first 2500 fans on Sunday will receive a schedule magnet courtesy of Deibler Dental. Sunday is also a Berks Packing Dollar Day ($1 hotdogs, soda, popcorn and nachos). Fans are also encouraged to bring their own skates and skate with the players after Sunday’s game.
Please also note that today’s broadcast is on the internet only for the Royals. (Coverage on CBS SportsRadio 1240 am and 98.5 fm is precluded by NFL Football on Westwood One).
