Royals to Play Home-and-Home Pre-Season Series with Elmira Jackals

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League, today announced the team’s pre-season schedule. The Royals will open the pre-season against the Elmira Jackals at First Arena in Elmira, New York, on Friday, October 10 (7:05 pm). The home-and-home pre-season series with the Jackals will conclude next day, Saturday, October 11 (7:05 pm), at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania.

The Royals’ invite everyone in the Greater Reading Region and beyond to attend the Royals’ pre-season game on Saturday, October 11, at Santander Arena for FREE! More details regarding the requirements for entry to the pre-season game in Reading will be forthcoming in the near future.

Please note that Season Ticket Holders will be able to pick up their season ticket packages beginning at 5:30 pm on Saturday, October 11, at Santander Arena. STHs will also be permitted entrance into Santander Arena one-half hour before all other patrons (5:35 pm). Santander Arena will be opened to the general public at 6:05 pm. Please note that the pre-season match-up between the Royals and Jackals is a general admission event, so it is recommended that all patrons arrive early in order to ensure the best available seats.

The Royals open the 2014-15 season at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia, where the team will face the Wheeling Nailers on Saturday, October 19. The home portion of the schedule will kick off the following Saturday (October 25, 2014 @ 7:05 pm) when Elmira will travel to Santander Arena. Royals’ season tickets are currently available.
