Royals to Host Ice/Promotional Team Tryouts

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization will host tryouts for the team’s new Ice/Promotional Team at the Body Zone Sports & Wellness Complex (3103 Paper Mill Road, Wyomissing, PA) on Wednesday, July 16, from 1:30 – 4:00 pm.

The Ice/Promotional Team—the first in Royals’ history—will serve as the team’s newest game night ambassadors, as well as handling the important function of cleaning the accumulated ice-shavings at certain spots on ice during stoppages in play at the Royals’ home games at Santander Arena in Reading. Candidates should be athletic, friendly, and dependable—with a fun and bubbly personality. Candidates will also need a basic or novice ice skating ability and must be a high school graduate and at least eighteen years of age.

Candidates for the Royals Ice/Promotional Team are requested to fill out and submit the Tryout Application Form, which can be accessed on the Royals’ website (Http://royalshockey.com/ice-team-tryouts/). The Ice/Promotional Team Tryouts will include an ice skating evaluation, an interview, and a photo session.
