Forward Sean Wiles Returned to Reading from Bridgeport

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Sean Wiles has been returned to the Royals from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL. Wiles, a third year pro from Beloit, Wisconsin, was loaned to Bridgeport on November 12 and scored one goal and picked up six penalty minutes in eleven games with the Sound Tigers. Wiles started the season with Reading and registered three goals, one assist (four points) and seven penalty minutes in nine games with the Royals prior this most recent stint in the AHL.

The Royals take on the Kalamazoo Wings tonight (Saturday, December 28 @ 7:05 pm) at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania. Some lucky fan is going win a trip for two to Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. for the Washington Capitals match-up against the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday, March 2. Tonight, the Royals will wear special retro-Capitals-styled jerseys, which will be sold starting at 10:30 pm after the game on the Royals web-store (www.royalshockey.com).  The game night broadcast on CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 will kick off with the Highmark Blue Shield Warm-Up Show at 6:35 pm on the Royals Broadcast Network presented by Boscov’s Travel and Apple Vacations.
