Forward David Marshall Loaned to Utica Comets

Forward David Marshall Loaned to Utica Comets

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that the team has loaned forward David Marshall to the Utica Comets of the AHL. Marshall, a fifth year pro from Buffalo, Minnesota, recorded a goal and an assist in the Royals first two games of the season this past weekend. Marshall has played 134 AHL games in his career, including 25 last season with Binghamton and Charlotte.

The Royals return to action on Friday (October 25 @ 7:05 pm) when the team will face the Elmira Jackals at First Arena in Elmira, New York. The game night broadcast that night will kick off at 6:35 pm on CBS Sports Radio (1240 am and 98.5 fm in Reading). Friday’s game, as with all Royals’ road games, will be televised locally in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on BCTV courtesy of Boscov’s Travel and Apple Vacations.
