Second Year Pro Played Seventeen AHL Games with Manchester Monarchs
Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward Ian O’Connor has been returned to Reading from the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL. O’Connor (6’0/203) (25), a second year pro from Londonderry, New Hampshire, was loaned to Manchester on February 27. He scored two goals and registered nine penalty minutes in seventeen games with the Monarchs. In fifty-five regular season games with Reading, O’Connor recorded thirty-one points (18g-13a) and picked up thirty-eight penalty minutes. The Royals take on the Florida Everblades in Game Two of the best of seven Eastern Conference Semi-Finals tonight (Saturday, April 20 @7:05 pm) at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania.
