Defenseman Has Nine Points in Twenty-Six Games with Royals

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that defenseman Brett Flemming has been reassigned by the Capitals from the Bears to the Royals. Flemming was recalled from Reading and reassigned to Hershey on Monday. He has played one game with the Bears without registering any points or penalty minutes. In twenty-six games with Reading, Flemming has scored one goal, assisted on eight others (nine points), and registered fifty-two penalty minutes. The Royals return to action tonight (Friday, December 21 @ 7:05 pm) when the Gwinnett Gladiators make their first trip of the year to the Sovereign Center in Reading. It’s First Responders’ Night at the Sovereign Center, and the Royals will honor emergency workers for their service in our community. We’ll also host our Pucks & Paws Night on Friday. The Game Night Broadcast kicks off at 6:35 pm on ESPN Radio (1240 am and 98.5 fm).
