Reading Receives Future Considerations from Stingrays for Third Year Pro

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that team has traded forward Chris Langkow to the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL for future considerations. Langkow, a third year pro from Vegreville, Alberta, recorded four points (2g-2a) and ten penalty minutes in nine games with the Royals. The Royals kick off a series of three in a row against the Trenton Titans tonight (7:00 pm) at Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, New Jersey. As with all Royals road games this season, Friday’s game will be televised locally in Berks County on BCTV courtesy of Boscov’s Travel and Apple Vacations. The game night radio broadcast will kick off at 6:30 pm on ESPN Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm.
