Forward Alex Berry Recalled to Hershey

Fourth Year Pro Registered Ten Points in Thirteen Games with Reading

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced forward Alex Berry has been recalled from Reading to the Bears. Berry, a fourth year pro from Danvers, Massachusetts, recorded ten points (4g-6a) in thirteen games with Reading, tying him for the team scoring lead with Yannick Tifu and Denny Urban. Two of Berry’s goals this season for the Royals have been game winners, and he scored the first short-handed goal of the season for Reading in Sunday’s 4-3 shootout win over the Trenton Titans. The Royals are back in action tomorrow (Wednesday, November 14 @ 7:05 pm) when the Elmira Jackals visit the Sovereign Center. The Washington Capitals Spirit Team and members of the Red Rockers ice team will be there to entertain the crowd. It’s Advertiser Appreciation Night and select draft Beer will be just $2.00.
