Royals Reminder: FREE Pre-Season Game at Sovereign Center Saturday!

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, take this opportunity to remind fans that the Royals will host the Trenton Titans in a pre-season game at the Sovereign Center in Reading on Saturday, October 6, at 7:05 pm. The Royals’ have once again partnered with the Reading Eagle to invite everyone in the Greater Reading Region and beyond to attend the Royals’ pre-season game on Saturday, October 6, at the Sovereign Center for FREE! Fans can gain admission to the Royals’ home pre-season game by simply presenting the coupon that will be published in the Reading Eagle in the days leading up to the pre-season game. Please note that the Reading Parking Authority’s South Penn Garage will be CLOSED FOR CONSTRUCTION on Saturday. Parking in the other RPA garages that night will cost $5.00 per vehicle. Please also note that Saturday night’s game will be broadcast on the internet and the Deibler Dental In-Arena Broadcast (99.3 fm inside the Sovereign Center) only. There will be no broadcast of the pre-season matchup between the Royals and Titans on Friday, October 5, which will be held at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey, because there are no broadcast facilities at that rink. Season Ticket Holders will be able to pick up their season tickets beginning at 5:30 pm on Saturday, October 6, at the Sovereign Center. STHs will also be permitted entrance into the Sovereign Center one-half hour before all other patrons (5:35 pm). The Sovereign Center will be opened to the general public at 6:05 pm. Please note that the pre-season match-up between the Royals and Titans is a general admission event, so it is recommended that all patrons arrive early in order to ensure the best available seats. The Royals open the 2012-13 regular season in Elmira, New York, on Friday, October 12, 2012, when the team will take on the Elmira Jackals at 7:05 pm. The next night, Saturday, October 13, 2012, the Royals open the home season when the Titans visit the Sovereign Center at 7:05 pm.
