Royals Activate Forward Julien Cayer from Reserve List and Place Forward David Civitarese on Reserve

Reading, PA – The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced that forward T.J. Syner has been recalled to the Bears from the Royals. In separate transactions, the Royals: (i) activated forward Julien Cayer from the Reserve List; and (ii) placed forward David Civitarese on the Reserve List. Syner, a first year pro from Springfield, Massachusetts, recorded a team-leading five points (2g-3a) in five games with the Royals. Cayer, a first year pro from Longueuil, Quebec, has not yet appeared in a game for Reading. Civitarese, a first year pro from Calgary, Alberta, has recorded one assist in four games with the Royals. The Royals return to action tonight against the Wheeling Nailers at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia. The game night broadcast will kick off at 6:30 pm tonight on ESPN Radio in Reading (1240 am and 98.5 fm). Tonight’s game will be broadcast on BCTV in Berks County, Pennsylvania courtesy of Boscov’s Travel and Apple Vacations. The Royals return home on Sunday (October 28 @ 5:05 pm), when the Toledo Walleye visit the Sovereign Center and the first 1000 kids fourteen and younger will receive a Jonathan Quick T-shirt courtesy of Metro Bank. There will also be a post-game ‘Bring Your Own Skates’ post-game skate with the players presented by the Body Zone Sports & Wellness Complex.
