Last season, Todd completed his senior season at Merrimack College, where he led the Warriors with twelve goals and added fifteen assists (twenty-seven points) in thirty-six games for a Merrimack team that, for the first time in school history, was ranked nationally all season long and was the number one team in the country for two weeks in November. That marked the second consecutive season for Todd to lead Merrimack in goals scored. At the conclusion of his senior season, Todd joined the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL, where he assisted on three goals in five games. Todd racked up a total of ninety-eight points (39g-59a) in 138 games during his time with the Warriors as part of a four-year class that won more games for the school than any other since Merrimack joined Division I in 1988 (65-62-17).
