Royals announce more details for Tifu Retirement Night
Reading, PA – Former Royals Captain Yannick Tifu and wrestling legend Ted DiBiase the “Million Dollar Man” are expected to clash in a potential wrestling match at Santander Arena when the Royals retire Tifu’s number 10 to the Diamond Credit Union Wall of Honor Sat., Mar. 17 at 7:00 p.m. The Royals host Brampton on St.HatTrick’s Day where any fan that purchases tickets to the game here and registers into the contest here can win $10,000 if a Royals player scores a hat trick. Reading will also wear specialty green St. Patrick’s Day jerseys to celebrate the holiday.
Here are the details you need to know:
- The Kelly Cup will be at the game as well as Mr. Patrick Kelly, for whom the Cup is named. Get your picture taken during the game.
- All fans can meet Ted DiBiase, Yannick Tifu and get a picture taken with the Kelly Cup during the first and second period.
- Season Ticket Holders can meet the Million Dollar Man from 5:45-6:30 p.m. at Section 109. Tifu, the Kelly Cup and Ted DiBiase will all be there.
- Get your picture with the Kelly Cup at the game and Friday, March 16th at Jimmy G’s Beverly Hills Tavern. The Kelly Cup will at Happy Hour from 4-7 p.m. Also, Royals mascot Slap Shot will be by for a visit and you can enjoy Jimmy G’s “Friday Happy Hour at The Hills.”

The Royals are at Brampton Thursday at 11:00 a.m. and travel to Wheeling for back-to-back games Fri., Mar. 8 and Sat., Mar. 9 at 7:05 p.m.
