Radio Recon's Ready for a Beauty and The Beast

Sinking Spring, PA – The Reading Royals cordially invite you to join us tomorrow night (Tuesday, February 9, 2016) from 6 – 7 pm at Jimmy G’s Railroad House Sports Bar and Restaurant (152 Woodrow Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA; 610-678-1177) for Radio Recon, the Royals’ weekly coach’s show.

I know James Brown was the hardest working man in show business, but if you’re looking for the hardest working guy in hockey ops, you may want to look in the equipment cage—or the laundry room—or the skate sharpening hall—or any of the other spots that Jason MacDonald may be running around trying to take get the boys ready to go. We’ll see if we can get him to sit down long enough to give us a glimpse into the never-ending world of the equipment guy. We’ll also try to get a little glimpse into what it’s like to strap on the hard-hat and hit the trenches with the big boys with Derek Mathers, who did a little bit of everything this past weekend—from racking up a multi-point performance to making sure everyone at WesBanco knew that, if things were going to get a little crazy, there was probably going to be a price to pay….

As always, we welcome any and all comments and questions from the fans at Radio Recon. We might also come up with a little crazy trivia and giveaways for those who participate in the show. Royals Radio Recon will be broadcast live on the Royals Broadcast Network (CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm in Reading).
