Radio Recon's Ready for Some Expert Travel Tips...

Sinking Spring, PA – The Reading Royals cordially invite you to join us tomorrow night (Tuesday, January 19, 2016) from 6 – 7 pm at Jimmy G’s Railroad House Sports Bar and Restaurant (152 Woodrow Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA; 610-678-1177) for Radio Recon, the Royals’ weekly coach’s show.

It probably won’t come as much of a surprise to learn that Derik Johnson’s family lived a bit of a wanderer’s existence during his father’s fifteen year NHL career that took them to virtually every corner of the continent. So we just gotta ask: how does a smart, young, well-traveled kid who’s had a chance to wallow in the warm, arid, desert climate of Phoenix, Arizona, end up choosing to go to college in the Iron Range of Minnesota? One thing’s for sure, it’s worked out pretty for young Derik—even if the host might pass on having him set up the family vacation plans....There’s probably one other thing for sure, too: Coach Courville isn’t going on any vacations any time soon. So we’ll talk with him about how he intends to get the boys to strap on the collective hard hat and get down to the business of climbing the Eastern Conference standings.…

As always, we welcome any and all comments and questions from the fans at Radio Recon. We might also come up with a little crazy trivia and giveaways for those who participate in the show. Royals Radio Recon will be broadcast live on the Royals Broadcast Network (CBS Sports Radio 1240 am and 98.5 fm in Reading).
